Dr. Caelin is a California native who grew up in the San Fernando Valley and now resides in south Orange County. She attended UC San Diego to complete a degree in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. It was there that Dr. Caelin started working in her first animal hospital and fell in love with the field of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Caelin went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis in 2021. Upon graduation, she entered general practice with a special interest in cardiology and feline medicine. Dr. Caelin quickly learned the importance of compassionate and personalized care for her patients, especially during end-of-life transitions. In her work with Hearts and Halos, Dr. Caelin is especially honored to be able to help pets pass peacefully in the comfort of their own homes.
In her free time, Dr. Caelin enjoys hanging out with friends, finding new coffee spots, and spending time with her dog (Calcifer) and three rescue cats (Mac, Marlowe, and Miso).
