Annie

Dear Dr. Peter & Dr. Michelle,

Bill and I want to thank you both so much for helping us and our Annie out yesterday. From the compassionate phone call the night before with Dr. Michelle to the final journey. We did not feel alone. You took something that is so difficult for all involved and made it beautiful and comfortable. As we described it to others, we felt Annie thought she was just taking a nap in our family room which is something she always loved to do. It is obvious that all of you are so compassionate and loving towards all these critters that really need you. We thank you for that. As our hearts ache for her, we will remember all of the wonderful times we had with Annie over the 14 1/2 years and remember her beautiful final journey here on this earth straight up to heaven. We know she is having fun up there swimming and retrieving birds.

The picture of Annie was taken about a year ago. She was sharing her pad in the family room with her little brother Tuffy. That was our Annie.
